Our 2018 Spring Newsletter Is Here, and Mother’s Day Run/Walk for Shelter Is Around the Corner

Home: A United Family, to Coexist, and to Share

We are so excited to share our 2018 Spring Newsletter with you.

Read it to learn how you empowered Crispina and Leon, and their three children, to dream big! Because of you, they are moving into permanent stable housing in Las Lomas, CA.

“We are now debt-free. Before PVSS, we didn’t have enough money to make ends meet, like paying rent. We plan our daily trips ahead to save gas. I teach my kids to be independent and to organize their room, and get ready on their own. It’s nice to be independent.”

WHAT IS THEIR GOAL?

“Our goal is to continue saving money towards purchasing a mobile home. We are grateful that PVSS provided us with a spacious home. We are taking risks because we want to achieve our goals. I want my children to get an education. I want them to have a stable job that they enjoy.” – Crispina

On Page 2, read about the other five families you moved into permanent housing.

Meet sweet Baby Brooklyn, to whom you have provided 320 days of shelter and services during her first year of life.

TOGETHER, WE CAN OUTRUN FAMILY HOMELESSNESS!

Why Should You Participate in Mother’s Day Run/Walk for Shelter?

“It’s the perfect opportunity to do something amazing for people trying to thrive and get ahead. Not only do you feel great about the exercise, you also are supporting a phenomenal organization that is truly targeting this inhumane epidemic [homelessness]! Better question, why would one NOT partake?!” – Adilene Garcia, Mother’s Day Runner

“It gives us the opportunity to support a community program that advocates and services human beings to have a safe place to restore and redefine themselves.” – Tony Roman, Mother’s Day Runner

We’re grateful for everything you do so that we can do everything we do! Read & download the newsletter here: 2018 Spring Newsletter. Send it your friends: spread PVSS love!
